Partnership for Children: What are "Community Partners"?
All agencies which either provide direct services to families with children ages 0-6, or are advocates for, maintain an active interest in, or otherwise maintain some sort of relationship with families with children ages 0-6, may apply to be a Partnership for Children Community Partner or Community Supporter.
Community Partners must employ at least 1 part-time staff person who provides a direct service to families with children ages 0-6, including, but not limited to, Home-Visiting, Child Care Services, Preschool Services, Parent Education Services, Financial Support/ Resources, Health Services, Resource and Referral, and Literacy Enhancement/ Development. Community Partners commit to participating in at least one Partnership for Children committee or work group, and are prepared to commit cash, in-kind support, or staff time to the activities of the Partnership.
