About the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee

Charge

The Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee (JJAC) is charged with convening stakeholders to study local juvenile justice practices, and developing and implementing strategies to prevent delinquency and promote accountability and rehabilitation. The JJAC develops strategies to ensure adequate and effective services within the juvenile justice system. The activities of the JJAC are guided by the objectives established in the Comprehensive Juvenile Justice Plan.
