Stepping Stones 2006 Released! – This is the seventh edition of Stepping Stones and there are 62 measures of our community’s well-being as well as 15 identified trends.  One trend of interest is the decline of children over the last five years in both the city and the county who were identified for the Early Intervention Reading Initiative, indicating that more children in our community are going to Kindergarten ready to learn.  The full Stepping Stones is on our website in PDF form and there are limited hard copies available.
