CCF Quarterly Report Highlights:
NetSmartz Internet Safety Training This was a free event held at
Charlottesville
High School
for parents and children to teach them how to stay safe from internet predators.
Truancy Grant Team Training The Interdisciplinary Truancy Team training in July featured a talk on the necessity of engaging parents in the truancy intervention process.

Sara Dansey Volunteer of the Quarter! -- Sara has been an
Albemarle
County
citizen representative for the Commission on Children and Families since July, 2005. She played a huge role in the NetSmartz Internet Safety training held in recognition of April as Child Abuse Awareness Month. Sara also serves on CCF’s Family Violence Work Group and the Executive Committee. Thanks Sara!
