November 2, 2001- The Charlottesville/Albemarle Commission on Children and Families presents its Annual Report to the Charlottesville City Council and the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors next week.

The presentation to City Council takes place Monday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. The Commission presents to the Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at 5:00 p.m. at the County Office Building, Room 235.

A special presentation by Dr. Michael Dickens focuses on Stepping Stones, an annual report on the well-being of children and families in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area. Commission members and staff will also highlight the work of two workgroups that explore issues surrounding juvenile justice and the administration of funds for local high needs children

Both meetings are open to the public, and the Commission welcomes the participation of interested residents.
